We Do It All
From groundwork preparation, enclosure design, and fence building to log cabin construction for the wolfdogs, Jon and Ashley do it all. This is to save on labor costs and to maximize the materials that can be purchased with donation funds. Why spend thousands of dollars that our donors have been generous enough to donate on labor that we can do ourselves? A passion for providing the best for the animals who call Blue Mountain Wolves Sanctuary their home has forced us to become a Jack and Jill of many traits through the years, and these are the skills we put to use to maximize donation productivity.

This is Brisket aka Little Miss Sunshine. She is a very high content wolfdog who is seeking lifelong sanctuary here at Blue Mountain Wolves. We absolutely want to give her a safe and loving home here, but that means we need YOUR help. We are seeking to raise $30,777 to be able to cover her required vetting and housing costs. We have the land space to take her, but we need to build her an enclosure as all of our current enclosures are already occupied by other sanctuary residents. Below, you will find a detailed breakdown of all the associated costs we will have to cover to give this sweet girl a forever home.

We don’t take what we do lightly. Nor are we nonchalant about the animals we take care of and provide for. Because of this, we only use the best and safest materials available to provide containment for our animals. This standard ensures the safety of all the animals housed here.
Size
We believe strongly in giving the animals we take in the best lives possible. That is why we only take animals in when we can provide them with what they need and deserve. Wolfdogs are highly intelligent and athletic animals and need large enclosures so they can run, play, explore, and have the stimulation they require to be happy and healthy.
